Our Partner Agencies

These nonprofit organizations have endowments with the High Point Community Foundation to grow their endowment with the result of supporting their financial stability.  This type of fund adds a layer of oversight to the investment and security of their money that is pooled with other monies managed by Foundation giving greater opportunities for diversified investments of these funds.  Agencies will also be promoted by the Foundation through marketing and communication vehicles.

Greater High Point Food Alliance

The Greater High Point Food Alliance (GHPFA) is a grass roots initiative to address food insecurity in the greater High Point area that was formed in December 2014 by local community members that were concerned about food insecurity. GHPFA accomplishes its goals by building collaborative relationships to address food insecurity with a community driven, holistic approach focused on food access, food education, urban agriculture, seniors, policy, and advocacy research. It all begins by asking our neighbors how they would solve food insecurity in their neighborhood.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater High Point

Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater High Point enables all young people, especially those who need it most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens. All school children ages 6-18 years old are accepted into their Clubs with a yearly membership fee of $2.00 so that our services are accessible to all.

Family Service of the Piedmont

Family Service of the Piedmont is focused on building safe and healthy families serving more than 19,000 clients a year, addressing issues of domestic violence, child abuse, mental health and financial stability.

Greater High Point Food Alliance

GHPFA coordinates and improves the effectiveness of entities in greater High Point focused on alleviating hunger by creating and executing citywide and neighborhood-focused initiatives to develop more just and sustainable food systems.

Mental Health Associates of the Triad is committed to the promotion of good mental health through quality service provision and advocacy for issues affecting the  mentally ill and outreach to the community.  They are dedicated to improving methods and services in research, detection, diagnosis and treatment of mental illness and the promotion of good mental health.

United Way of Greater High Point, Inc. develops community resources and partnerships that support a broad array of critical health and human service needs in our community. Resources are focused on community impact programs that promote and improve education, financial stability, and health in Greater High Point.
