If you haven’t visited the High Point Discovered, now’s a good time. The Foundation is featured as a “Changemaker.”

We’re always happy for good publicity, but especially when it’s with something as cool as this unique blog started by interior design firm Barbour Spangle Design.

The High Point Discovered content team interviewed Paul Lessard to present the story of the Foundation and where it’s going.

My biggest challenge, and it is one that will continue, is that I have the privilege of working with some of the finest leaders in this community and I fall in love with them and it is so hard to lose them. Folks like Bill Horney, Jim and Jess Millis, Rob Culp, Yogi Yarborough, Jack & Marsha Slane, George Erath, Bob Amos, Robert McInnis, Hilda Fountain and so many others have left an indelible mark upon my heart. They have made me a better man and leader for knowing and working with them.

High Point Discovered is one example of what one organization can do to build our community’s brand with positive and affirming coverage of what’s great about High Point.

Principal Christi Barbour launched the blog earlier this year as an extension of her firm’s website. While the blog doesn’t promote Barbour Spangle directly, it certainly says a lot about ITS brand.

Also, High Point Discovered was recently our partner in the High Point Schools Partnership “Extraordinary Educators” recognition program launched in August. Together we honored 25 educators from each of 25 public schools in High Point who were selected by their principals for outstanding work. Check out the story here. Thank you, High Point Discovered and Barbour Spangle Design!
